With one of the best COPs currently available (capable of reaching in excess of 4), the unit can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 50% compared to boiler-led systems.
The Yutaki is cheaper and easier to install than a ground source heat pump and integrates seamlessly with different types of heating systems such as traditional radiators, underfloor heating and can contribute to the domestic hot water.
The Yutaki works by converting the latent energy in the air into cost-effective heating energy, with every 1 kilowatt of electricity used to power the heat pump providing up to 3 kilowatts of extra free energy in a well-insulated property. It is controlled by weather-compensation sensors that detect the difference between inside and outside temperature, to ensure efficiency and comfort.
The Yutaki features inverter driven compressor technology – a high pressure DC inverter scroll compressor operating at variable speeds. This varies the amount of energy used, depending on the temperature in the building, to meet the demand required – reducing operation costs.
Its wireless programmable thermostat is intuitive and quick to use, and other leading features include pre-configured, multiple heating program options, system frost protection and low noise emissions.
Andrew McCubbin, UK General Manager of Hitachi, said: “Nu-Heat is the perfect UK distributor for Yutaki systems – they are leading suppliers of innovative heating equipment to installers and builders with a wealth of experience in the integration of renewable technologies.”
“The Yutaki returns efficiency levels of up to 400%, a great improvement on the average boiler with only 90% efficiency. For cutting-edge technology capable of saving energy, installation and operation costs – look no further than the Yutaki.”
The Yutaki comes with a five-year warranty and is available through Nu-Heat on 0800 731 1976 or visit www.nu-heat.co.uk
