The place: one of the largest themed condo resorts in Thailand
With 8 buildings and 1,520 apartment units, the Seven Seas Côte d'Azur is a major resort complex near the Jomtien beach at the South of Pattaya. It provides tourist apartment for holidaymakers and as a beach house for some homeowners.
The apartments, from studios to 3-bedrooms, make a perfect place to indulge themselves and enjoy a relaxing time near the beach. Multiple pools, a restaurant and services operate to satisfy all the needs of the visitors. Inspired from the French riviera theme, the condominium’s architecture and landscaping recall the luxurious Côte d'Azur lifestyle.
Pattaya’s local climate is tropical and hot, making it attractive for holidays along the beautiful white sand beaches. However, for indoor time, air conditioning is essential year-round to keep the spaces under pleasant humidity and temperature levels.
The solution: over 2,500 Hitachi E-Series wall-mounted systems provide durable performance.
As, from the project’s origins, the developer intended to sell out condo units, the AC was meant to be individual E-Series wall-mounted equipment, independent for each apartment.
Looking for a trusted brand, the Japan-born Hitachi Cooling & Heating brand with a long tradition in air conditioning was preferred. Known for high-quality standards, Hitachi air conditioners comply with strict safety and quality requirements, from its components to system’s design.

The key challenge was to supply 2,500 units, which was successfully achieved thanks to solid customer service and logistic support.
Regarding the Hitachi E-Series wall-mounted systems that were installed, they resolved two main requirements:
- They met the energy efficiency requirements, resulting in annual energy savings and cheaper running costs. Also, by adopting the climate-friendly R32 refrigerant, the carbon impact could be reduced.
- The compact outdoor unit was ideal to fit in the balconies of the apartments, taking minimal space, so the balconies could remain free for the occupants’ leisure facing the pools.
