BACnet (Building Automation Control Network) protocol was created as a standard for communication between various building automation devices. This interface supports ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 135-2004 BACnet® Control standard, enabling integration of an Hitachi VRF system to a building management system.
– Control Hitachi VRF units through BACnet
Supports connection of up to 64 VRF indoor units and 64 VRF outdoor units across a single refrigerant network, or 32 indoor units and 32 outdoor units across 2 refrigerant networks. Through a connected building management system an administrator can control Run/Stop, operation mode, fan speed, set temperature, lock controllers and reset filter change sign. It is also possible to monitor indoor air intake temperatures, alarm codes and communication states through the connected BMS or building automation system.
