The place: a new store for consumers to find their dreams’ sofa
The Dondi Salotti shop opened in Biella relects the style and quality of the Italian sofa brand. The 675sq.m venue, dedicated to interior design, welcomes visitors, for them to discover the extensive lineup of sofas.
The store mainly consists in a one large open-plan modular showroom space. The interior layout is meant to be regularly updated, to stage diverse homy corners based on the sofa collection and latest interior design trends.
The indoor temperature is critical for shops, to let visitors feel comfortable and relaxed when buying their new sofa.
The large showroom zone demanded a powerful cooling and heating solution, yet unobstructive equipment was desired to allow interior layout updates. Also, choice of an AC preserving the premium interior style was key for this project.
The solution: Design award-winning Silent-IconicTM cassettes make all the difference
To meet the big capacity demanded by the shop, VRF technology was a natural choice. VRF systems make a top-class energy saving solution to cool and heat multiple zones effectively, with great flexibility of controls.
First and foremost, our exclusive Silent-IconicTM 4-way design panel was immediately identified as the ideal solution to meet the high standards in style and esthetics of Dondi Salotti. With a timeless award-winning looks, Silent-Iconic enable to install AC cassette in the ceilings as an extra luxurious element to the interior design.
The black and white details subtly blend in the shop. Whether open or closed, the black-colored air outlet louvers are invisible in the equally black frame.
Hitachi 4-way cassettes can easily accommodate regular changes in the showroom layout. With individual louver control, the airflow direction can be re-adjusted at each of the four sides to make sure to reach the desired zone.
10 units of 4-way cassettes with Silent-Iconic panel were installed throughout the shop. For air renewal purpose, they were combined with the Fresh Air Intake (1PD-75A) which can bring in fresh air as much as 10% of the air volume.
For the Dondi Salotti project, modular top-flow SET FREE SIGMA range could deliver the right capacity, for a total of 32HP. Two units of the high energy efficiency series FSXNPE were installed in the back on the shop.
Regarding the controls, the client requested the possibility to remotely monitor the air conditioning system. CS-NET Lite web-friendly system was installed.
