The NP Series is a multi-split room AC unit that connects up to 5 indoor units, offering integrated flexibility and advanced climate control equipment. The NP Series implements the latest Japanese technologies and a Japan-made compressor, delivering optimal cooling and heating solutions with high reliability and stability.
– Multi-split AC Units: Up to 5 indoors units connected
Hitachi’s multi split units can connect up to 5 indoor units within one refrigerant system. This offers more flexibility to those who may contend with limited outdoor unit installation space. The NP series ODU is connectable to both wall mounted and ducted type units. Customers can choose the type of indoor unit to accommodate different rooms. The NT series indoor units are also connectable for users to enjoy the most advanced technology of Hitachi air conditioning.
– FrostWash with ions extends protection duration
New FrostWash technology cleans the heat exchanger automatically with the condensate and heats the fins to remove moisture. It concludes the whole cleaning procedure by emitting ions into the unit to prolong the course of pollutant growth decline.
– Inverter technology: More power with Japanese technology
Hitachi’s air conditioning adopts Japan’s inverter control technology, which controls the ultra high frequency voltage and the pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) system precisely to prevent loss of energy. When the load increases, the voltage raises to 360V in order to boost compressor rotation. Meanwhile, the power factor hikes up to 99% which delivers rapid cooling or heating, and more efficient power.
– PM0.1 filter filters out 99.9% pollutants
The PM0.1 filter is an AC filter proven to filtrate up to 99.9% effective on particulate matter down to 0.1 μm.
– Perceived temperature technology
By controlling both temperature and humidity, Hitachi air conditioning converts the setting temperature to perceived temperature. By removing humidity in the air, it delivers a more comfortable environment without added energy consumption.

Set a comfortable temperature to help you fall asleep, knowing that Hitachi air conditioning will automatically adjust the temperature once the timer is set, preventing the room from getting too cold or too hot and reducing energy consumption.

Whenever the unit is switched off, the AC automatically blows air through internal components to prevent mold build-up– the primary cause of those nasty odors. It offers 5 different time durations (10, 20, 30,45, and 60 mins) for selection according to humidity and users’ preference.
