– Four (4)-zone motion sensor
Some 4-way cassettes embed a 4-zone motion sensor. It divides the room into 4 zones and detects human presence/absence per zone.
It’s particularly useful for when direct or indirect air flow preferences are set*. The indoor unit can make sure to direct the air to each of the 4 zones if occupants prefer to directly feel the airflow on them.
*Requires compatible indoor units and controllers.
