Hitachi Cooling & Heating Installer Program Redemption. 

Hitachi Cooling & Heating Malaysia is running an Installer Program from 1st June to 31st August 2023.

All verified installers are eligible to redeem up to *RM30 gift voucher for each air conditioner installed.

Step 1:- Take photos of the indoor and outdoor Hitachi AC units' serial numbers and installed units.

Step 2:- Complete the registration with photos of installation, product serial numbers and receipt from dealer.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

An installation is required to participate in the Touch & Go e wallet cash back/Watson e-Voucher redemption program. Entering the Hitachi Cooling & Heating Malaysia Installer Redemption Program (the “Redemption Program”) constitutes Participant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these terms and conditions and the decisions of the Company, which are final and binding.

THE REDEMPTION PROGRAM

1.      The redemption program is sponsored by Johnson Controls Hitachi Air-Conditioning Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., with address No. 10, Jalan Kemajuan, Bangi Industrial Estate, 43650 Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia (the “Company”).

2.      The Installer Program will run for three (3) months, beginning on 01 June 2023, 12:00am (MYT) and ends on 31 Aug 2023, 11:59pm (MYT) (the “Program Period”).

3.      The redemption program mechanics:

a.      With every installation of Fixed Speed and Standard Inverter series/models within the Program Period, Installer is allowed to redeem Touch & Go eWallet Cash Back (specifically for West Malaysia) & Watson e-voucher (specifically for East Malaysia, Sarawak and Sabah) worth RM20 for Fixed Speed & RM30 for Standard Inverter per air conditioner unit/per installation within the Program Period.

b.      The specific models are the following:

c.       The above series or models are available on sale in the following channel partner list in Appendix 1 and from channel partners who have online stores in Lazada, Shoppe or channel partners which maintain their own website store. To qualify for the Redemption Program, the above air conditioning units installed by Installers should be purchased from any of the channel partners listed in Appendix 1 only and/or only from channel partners who have online stores in Lazada, Shoppe, and/or purchased from channel partners which maintain their own website store.

d.      The Installer Redemption Program is capped at 450 sets for EJ, EH, AJ & AH series and 150 sets for XJ & XH series of air conditioner installed within each month of the Program Period, regardless of whether from West Malaysia, East Malaysia, Sarawak or Sabah, and will be on a first-come first-serve basis.

ELIGIBILITY

4.      The Installer program is open only to residents of Malaysia aged 18 years old or above at the time of the Contest Entry (as defined below), and those specifically from West Malaysia, the Installer must have a valid and existing Touch & Go eWallet account (the “installer/participant”). For avoidance of doubt, the Installers employed by the Company’s Channel Partners are allowed to participate in the redemption program as long as they meet the above criteria.

5.      The following individuals are not eligible to enter this redemption program:

a.      Company employees or internally contracted vendors of the Company or its parent/subsidiaries (“Company Employee”).

b.      The immediate family members or members of the same household of any such Company Employee or vendor.

c.       Anyone professionally involved in the development or administration of this Program.

d.      All Project Sales and Project installations are not entitled for this Installer Redemption Program.

HOW TO ENTER

6.      With every installation of Fixed Speed EJ, EH, AJ & AH series or Standard Inverter XJ & XH series, the Installer is allowed to redeem: (1) for West Malaysia, Touch & Go eWallet Cash Back worth RM20 for EJ, EH, AJ & AH series, and RM30 for XJ & XH per air conditioner per install; and/or (2)For East Malaysia; Sarawak & Sabah, Watson e-voucher worth RM20 for AJ & AH series and RM30 for XJ & XH series per air conditioner per install.

7.      Upon successful installation of the air conditioner, Installer must submit the following information in the Company’s website at https://www.hitachiaircon.com/my/contact-us#4 (“Contest Entry”):

a.      Name

b.      Employer Name,

c.       handphone number

d.      Date of Installation (*must be within Program Period)

e.      Photo of indoor & outdoor sticker with serial no.

f.       copy of the original receipt of purchase (with channel partner name, quantity of purchase)

8.      Installers will be given until 7 Sept 23 to submit their Contest Entry and to redeem the cashback / e voucher.

9.      Upon submission and verification, within 7 working days, the Company or its agency representative will contact the Installer, in order to transfer: (1) for West Malaysia, the Touch & Go eWallet Cash Back of RM20 for each air conditioner EJ, EH, AJ & AH series or RM30 for each air conditioner XJ & XH series, and/or (2) for East Malaysia, Sarawak and Sabah, the Watson e-voucher of RM20 for EJ, EH, AJ & AH series and RM30 for XJ & XH series.

10.   The Contest Entry that does not meet the above requirements will be disqualified. Company reserves the right to disqualify false submission or duplication of submission suspected of being false. Incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries, in the sole discretion of Company, will be disqualified.

11.   Company is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, void, corrupted, garbled, illegible, and/or unintelligible submission, or for any problems, bugs or malfunctions that Installers may encounter when submitting their Contest Entry. Only a complete valid redemption/Contest Entry shall be accepted.

PUBLICITY

12.   Installers acknowledge and agree that the Company may use the Installer Redemption Program, any Contest Entry, for publicity, advertising or other marketing purposes in any media, and may use the name, likeness, and state of residence and/or of Participants as part of that publicity, without additional compensation.

13.   Each Installer consents to the publication of his/her Contest Entry by the Company, and understands that such publication is not guaranteed, and is at the sole discretion of the Company, and grants the Company the following rights: (i) the right of publication of the Installer Redemption Program and/or Contest Entry in any and all media or form of communication; (ii) the worldwide right, in the Company's sole discretion, to use, transcribe, publish, reproduce, distribute, sell or display the Installer Redemption Program and/or Contest Entry, alone or in conjunction with other materials; (iii) the worldwide right to edit the Installer Redemption Program and/or Contest Entry to conform to the Company's standards of style, technological requirements, language, grammar and punctuation, provided the meaning of the Installer Redemption Program try is not materially altered; and (iv) the worldwide right to use the Installer's name and likeness in connection with the Contest Entry or this Contest, in each case of (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv), all without further compensation.

PRIVACY

14.   A Contest Entry irrevocably becomes, at time of entry, the property of the Company. The Company collects personal information about an entrant to include the entrant in the Installer Redemption Program, to conduct the Installer Redemption Program, and, where appropriate, to award the redemption. All Installers agree that the Company may, in the event the Installer is entitled for the redemption, publish or cause to be published the Installer's name and locality in any media. An Installer can gain access to, update or correct any personal information held by the Company by contacting the Company's Data Protection Office below:

15.   Any personal information collected by Company will be used for the administration of the Installer Redemption Program and in accordance with the Company’s privacy policy. Please refer to the Company’s privacy policy located at https://www.johnsoncontrols.com/privacy for important information regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by Company. Please note that by entering the Installer Redemption Program or allowing a representative of the Company to scan Installer’s palm or business card, Installer is consenting to Company collecting and using Installer’s contact information (i) for direct marketing purposes. Installer’s personal information may also be transferred and stored overseas to administer Company’s services and communications for this purpose. By responding to this Installer Redemption Program, Installer consents to this transfer. If Installer does not wish Company to use their contact information for direct marketing purposes, please do not participate in the Contest.

16.   By participating in the Installer Redemption Program, Installers expressly grant permission to the Company and its agencies to use the installer’s  name, photograph and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, editorial, promotional, marketing, trade and/or other purposes without further compensation and notice.

17.   The Company may collect Installer’s information including personal data in the form of, among others, survey forms, redemption of prize forms, interviews, audio recordings, visual recordings and photographs (whether by the Company or by appointed service provider). By participating, Installers agree that the collection of such information will be processed, handled and used in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Johnson Controls.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

18.   The  Touch & Go eWallet Cash Back and/or Watson’s E-Voucher is non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash or service in part or in full, and Installer shall accept the Touch & Go eWallet Cash Back and/or Watson E-Voucher on an “as is” basis.

19.   Company reserves the right to substitute any aspect of the Redemption Program, including the Touch & Go eWallet Cash Back and/or Watson E-Voucher, with another item of equivalent value and will notify the corresponding Participants under this circumstance. The Company’s decision regarding the substitution is final and binding.

20.   These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Malaysia and shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any actions or claims under these terms and conditions. Installers hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of Malaysia courts.

21.   By participating in the Installer Redemption Program, insofar as allowable under applicable law, all installers agree to release and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, related entities and their directors, employees, officers, licensees, licensors and agents, and respective advertising and campaign entities and any person or entity associated with the production, judging, or administration of the Installer Redemption Program (collectively, the "Released Parties"), from and against any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that the Installers may have, or which may arise, from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to any person or property, for any other liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from all aspects of the Installer Redemption Program, including but not limited to, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of Touch & Go eWallet Cash Back and/or the Watson E-Voucher in the Installer Redemption Program. Insofar as allowable under applicable law, each Installer acknowledges that the Released Parties have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Installer Redemption Program and Touch & Go eWallet and/or Watson E-Voucher. All warranties are hereby disclaimed to the full extent permitted by law. All costs and expenses, including support services, not specifically listed above as part of the Installer Redemption Program, are solely the Installer’s responsibility. The Company, or any of the Released Parties is not liable in case of failure of receipt for any reason whatsoever by the Installer of the eWallet CashBack in Touch & Go eWallet and/or the Watson E-Voucher.

22.   Use of any automated entry device or software is prohibited. Creation or use of multiple accounts for registration or participation in the Installer Redemption Program is prohibited.

23.   Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change, amend, revise, supplement, delete, vary, suspend, cancel, modify or delay the Installer Redemption Program without prior notice at any time, for any reason including but not limited to computer virus, bug, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or other technical problem, security, or other problems or activities.

24.   Company may also cancel or suspend the Installer Redemption Program, for any reason, including but not limited to, if the delivery of the Touch & Go eWallet Cash Back and/or Watson E-Voucher, and any other aspects of the Installer Redemption Program in general, is prevented or hindered by any outside agent or event including but not limited to vandalism, power failure, tempest, natural disaster, acts of God, civil unrest or strikes or other industrial event.
